Accommodation halls were renovated in October 2013. Double or triple rooms en suite. There is also a sitting area for students to socialise.

The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided.

The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.

Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.

Use of internet is possible in the accommodation halls.

Entertainment

A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries.

The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!

Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.

Lessons

Students choose the Academies and Activities they want to do when they arrive at Whitgift on Sunday. which is our arrival day. The only exception is Golf, Horse Riding and Fencing, which must be selected before arrival.

Academies include four 90-minute sessions of specialist training with professional coaches and teachers each week. Our Multi-Activity course gives students the chance to chose two different activities each week.

On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language. Students are divided into 2 groups, the Middle School, ages 11 – 13 and the Senior School, ages 14 – 16.

The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.

The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.
