Reading

Laid out along the banks of the rivers Thames and Kennet, the city of Reading is less than half hour by train from central London. It is a fast developing focal point for trade and industry and one of the largest commercial centres in West England. The city is a mix of old and newer buildings. You can visit the Museum of Roman antiques to admire the famous Silchester eagle, amongst others. Hexagon amusement centre provides all sorts of fun and entertainment amongst which is the opportunity to attend musical and theatrical performances.

Reading’s parks and gardens draw hundreds of walkers and joggers or whoever wishes to simply loosen up and enjoy! For those who prefer shopping, on the other hand, the ''high street'' in the city center and the super-modern Oracle shopping center, which is built near the river Kennet, is a must-visit!
