TEACHER TRAINING COURSES

Teacher Training Courses are for adults (18+) interested in obtaining an initial certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, to deepen  their  knowledge on the methodology and  didactics, learn about  new pedagogical methods or to specialize in tutoring specific areas of the language.

The Teacher Training Courses provide starter skills or further specialization on different areas of the educational process, from Teaching Young Learners to Class Management and CLIL, helping foreign language teachers to hone their knowledge and develop their language and pedagogical skills.

Language Teachers ​​are faced with constant and rapid developments in the fields of methodology and didactics.

Each teaching hour in the classroom presents a different challenge, as teachers are not only asked to complete the course successfully, but also to take other factors into account. For example, the social environment from which a learner comes and the reasons that have led one to want to learn a foreign language are some of the issues that an English instructor must take into due consideration.

Furthermore, correct time management of a lesson in a way that will cover learners requirements, is a major factor determining whether the teacher will deliver a lesson productively. At the same time, the growing demand for the use of technology in education adds further pressure on teachers who need to adapt rapidly to new requirements in education.

Student and new teachers as well as working professionals with some or many years of experience in foreign language instruction, are often called upon to redefine the methodology they have learnt or currently practice, in order to provide a more meaningful learning experience to teachers of English as a foreign language.

Depending on the city or destination, the type of accommodation varies according to the preferences of the candidate student. Lodges, hotels, hostels, flats, houses or family homes, are some of the options.
