Eton College, Windsor

Eton College is a private college, near Windsor in Berkshire, England.

Founded in 1440 by King Henry VI to provide free education to 70 needy boys attending King's College, Cambridge University, which he founded in 1441. For the past 6 centuries Eton has been one of the leading independent providers education in the United Kingdom, steadily increasing the enrollment. Eton is a classic school, which means students live in school seven days a week and is one of only four independent high schools in the UK.

Eton has trained prime ministers, world leaders, Nobel laureates, writers, Olympians, scientists and explorers, members of the royal family and generations of aristocracy and is often referred to as "the chief nurse of England's statesmen".

It belongs to the most expensive schools in England and at the same time to the most famous and recognizable institutions in the world.

Its historic site offers a truly unique environment for students to study.

The college is located in Eton Berkshire, a short walk from the historic city of Windsor and just a 15-minute drive from Heathrow Airport and less than an hour from central London.
